From ATLANTA, GA (Atlanta to Helen- 85 miles. Travel time-1.5 hours)

I-85 North to Gainesville Exit 113, which is Hwy 985/365. Hwy 985 ends but 365 continues through Gainesville. Continue on 365 beyond Gainesville approx 20 miles to third traffic light, which is Hwy 384. Turn left and go approx 20 miles to GA Hwy 75. Turn right and you are 3 miles from Helen. Hwy 75 is our main street.

I-400 North until it dead-ends. At the end of the interstate there is a traffic light and a two lane county road that continues straight ahead called Long Branch Road. Continue on Long Branch approx 5-7 miles to Hwy 115/52. Turn right and go approx 13 miles to Cleveland. At the Courthouse in Cleveland, go left around the building on Hwy 129 to the next traffic light. Turn right on GA Hwy 75 and go 9 miles to Helen. Hwy 75 is our main street.

From GREENVILLE, SC or any part of SC (Greenville to Helen-147 miles)

I-85 South to the Lavonia Exit #173, Hwy 17, travel West to Toccoa. Turn left on the Hwy 17 by-pass to Hwy 365 South. Stay on 365 South to Cornelia. (Signs say to Helen exit at Clarkesville and you can do that cont. to follow signs) At Cornelia exit, Hwy 441 go North to Hwy 105 left/west approx 15 miles to Hwy 17. Turn left and follow signs into Helen approx 10 miles.

From CHATTANOOGA, TN (Chattanooga to Helen-132 miles)

I-75 South to Dalton, GA, take Hwy 76 to Ellijay, then South on Hwy 52 to Dahlonega. At Dahlonega, continue on Hwy 52/115 to Cleveland. At the Square in Cleveland, take GA Hwy 129 North one block to Hwy 75, turn right and go 9 miles to Helen.

From KNOXVILLE, TN (Knoxville to Helen-166 miles)

I-75 North to Cleveland, TN. Take Hwy 64 East to Hayesville, NC. Turn South on Hwy 69 to GA. At GA line, road becomes Hwy 17 into Hiawassee. Follow signs to Hwy 17/75 South into Helen.

When you arrive in Helen, you will be on Hwy 75. Look for the Wendy's restaurant on the right side of the road. Turn right at Wendy's, go to the 3-way stop and take another right. We are located 2 blocks down that road on the right hand side. We have a sign out front that says Bavarian Brook Rentals. Our street address is 859 Edelweiss.
